Just wanted to say, that is a great idea! Wouldn't have thought about that.

Check your credit and see if there is an inquiry from a bank you don't know about.

Also request a Chexsystems report, if he opened a new account somewhere, 90% of banks use CS and their would be an inquiry from a bank on his CS report.

If their is no inquiry on CS, he is probably using an alternative method of paying, like a visa gift card or prepaid CC.

Whether or not the account has been closed, I'd let your attorney know... nothing worse than getting blindsided. If it is nothing to worry about, he'll tell you, if it IS something to worry about and you didn't tell him he'll be pissed and tell you.

Yeah, well what if he closed it by now? How would the trustee know?

Sassie, maybe you should start cruisin some of those sites for women, and see what DH thinks, though it will probably just keep you up at night (if you know what I mean)
Yeah, problem is, he does this from his work laptop...not here at home. Its not the first time! Im just getting sick of it! So, does the trustee really run your SSN and locate any and all accounts a person has?

Like Albacore said... nature of the beast. BTW, there are outright free sites for that sort of thing

I would work on the communication issue and move on to the task at hand. Getting your life back on track.

The question to ask is "What is the source of his extra money?"

Not really a secret account, but not fun to find the hubby looking at those special "websites"( if I am getting your drift as to the content)

Put a Nanny blocker with Password protection on the PC. (hee, hee)
