When my lawyer filed my petition, I did not think I was going to get a tax refund so we did not protect any tax refund. My taxes were never filed prior to the petition and it turns out I am due a refund, for both 2020 and 2021.
I have emailed my lawyer about amending the petition but he hasn't responded yet.
I have not received the refunds yet but I was wondering what would happen if I used them to get my car payment up to date?
