I agree, she should report her ex-husband to the authorities or he's going to keep doing what he is doing.

I believe there is a way to lock your credit so you need to give permission to the bureaus to release your report so noone can get credit in your name. I suggest you do that and I also suggest you report your ex-husband to the authorities.Originally posted by notadeadbeat View PostHi,
I filed for BK7 in July 2009, was discharged on October 10, 2009
and FINALLY the case was closed on MARCH 10, 2010.
My question is this.............up until I filed I was never late on any
payments, credit cards, loans, mortgages, etc. My lawyer had me
stop paying everything 30 days before I filed. I was caught up in
a loss of job, ex stole my identity and racked up my credit cards, etc.
My credit score dropped from 800+ to 673. It then went back to
712 and is now at 726. Since the closing of the case, will it drop even lower or is this what it will be till I can rebuild my credit? A friend of mine is
ticked off as she filed too and hers went down to 500 or so but she also
didn't pay any of her debts for a year or so which I am sure is why hers is so low?
Any info would be appreciated. I also have monitored my credit score monthly and just found 2 NEW CREDIT CARDS added to my report that I believe are the ex's.........I will be calling the credit bureaus on MONDAY am when they open! How do I finally rid him off all my stuff? I just got remarried and want to put him in the rear view mirror!

PS...If you don't follow my advice then you are a dead beat!
