Impatiently awaiting our discharge! We made our final payment in late August 2025. Received our refund check the beginning of Sept 2025. Our notice to cure mortgage was sent out on Sept 23rd 2025 and the response from our 2 mortgages have responded with payment cured today 10.13.2025. For those that have been discharged, after the notice from mortgage that payment was cured how long before petition for discharge to be submitted. I live in Oklahoma and in our congratulations letter with our refund check they said it can take up to 160 days. Really hoping it doesn’t. Our payment was over $3600 a month, so happy to have that money but ready to completely put this behind us. We filed in March of 2019 and got a Covid hardship so ended up in a 73 month plan, we’re so close to having our life back! On the plus side of a 73 month plan, the bankruptcy should drop off our credit report in March of 2026.
