My son was just laid off. Can I pay his car payment with a credit card. It’s 409

I don't know how that would effect filing. I am just throwing this out there can your son pick up some work, Doordash or something like that at least to make the car payment? Has he always been on time with payments? He might be able to call whoever the loan is with and make a delayed payment.

He is delivering for Amazon. I paid it. I would think the worse that would happen is it won’t be discharged. Oh well. Life happens
