Hey old timers, what was science fiction 20 years ago, we take for granted today. Remember Dick Tracey with his wrist radio TV? What the heck is Cell phone etc.?

Wow that is so totally possible and how would we ever know it? Fact is if they really wanted it done, they could require some kind of immunization that we all had to have and insert the chip that way and none of us would know. Like I said very science fiction, but totally possible, and very, very scary.

When I watched "I Am Legend". I kept thinking this movie could become reality, I loved the movie, but in truth, it scared the crap out of me too.

oh yah! I never thought of that being placed into a vital organ where you could never get it out. That would definately work. YIKES!

I have watched too much Logans Run & too much Schwarzenegger where they somehow always manage to get the RFID chip out of their nose

Good point hub. Just like they automatically give you a birth certificate and ssn# they can also insert a chip at birth

I suppose if you take it in the literal sense you would see a mark of the beast in every generation & that I would agree when it comes to RFID for buy, sell, work & trade. RFID is a definate step in that direction but in my opinion, it as easily removed as it is injected...so my thought would be something a little more permanent ON the skin rather than under it, more along the lines of a tatoo or a deep branding somewhere that can never be removed...using the RFID as the first step in a final branding on humans just like cattle & it would most likely be done from birth. Perhaps both in the future.

We do live in very intersting times for sure.

I am exactly the same & glad to hear it. I hope this is the way most people who are aware of this are seeing it also.

You are smart enough to know that RFID is not the way to go as there will be many problems if it ever should become law for humans. Very sad to think that there may be a generation soon who believes being chipped is normal and it has always been this way.

But hey, we're almost in a cashless society now.

These are interesting times we are in.

or you get the conspriacy theory oxymoron, as if it does not exist for a reason.
"Let's all get chipped because the president said we will be safer from the terrorists."

The more chips you have in your home, the safer you will be

Im sure the National ID cards are going to have the chips inserted in them like the passports do already. Keep in mind that you wont be able to board a plane without getting a National ID card so be prepared to drive cross country for business trips and to see loved ones. How can they do this? Because your Federal citizens and Federal citizens do not have rights, they have priveledges.
