    Questions on Chapter 13

Hi...my husband and I are preparing for a chapter 13. We've met with a lawyer who is now working on our schedules, etc.

I failed to ask a really important quesiton.

We need to make up two house payments. We are currently able to make monthly payments, but are still behind two.

Does this get rolled into our chapter 13?

Yes, typically secured loans for your mortgage(s) or cars that are in arrears get rolled into the Ch 13 plan to make up the arrears over the life of the plan. That's one of the advantages of Ch 13 over Ch 7.

We're all here going through many of the same things you are, ajk - ask questions, share your experiences, and come back to vent anytime! Glad you found us!
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
