I filed my chapter 13 at the end of December and am still waiting on my 341 hearing. I just finished mailing off my first plan payment and am glad to finally get this thing started The end of this plan sure does seem like a long way off, and I'm worried about the inevitable expenses I'm sure to incur along the way. It sure does feel good to be on the road-to-recovery though!

Congrats there. I have lost track of how many payments I have made, but the end is in sight. Hang in there and budget, budget, budget. And pray if you are so inclined.

Congratulations on payment #1, AHU! You are on your way, and as Arkie suggests, the only way to survive a 13 is to budget, budget, budget! Feels great to finally be doing something positive to get out from under that huge pile of never-ending debt, doesn't it? Way to go!
