Today is the deadline to convert & file from 13 - chapt 7... lawyer is MIA!

What do we do?!?!?!?!

We got a 30 day default notice, and today is day 30. My lawyer has today to file for conversion to Chapter 7, and we have not heard from him! I've been calling, and emailing non-stop and even stopped by over at his office.

What could happen if he doesn't respond and then we miss the deadline?! We could be dismissed because our LAWYER was irresponsible?????

How many times have you talked to your lawyer about this conversion during the last 30 days?

06/28/06 - 341 Meeting
07/18/06 - Confirmation Hearing - not confirmed, 3 objections
10/05/06 - Hearing to resolve 2 trustee objections
01/24/07 - Judge dismisses mortgage company objection
09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
