understanding means test

I have the means test attorney did, however she had made an error.
I went to legalconsumer.com and did the means test.
Question: The amount of "disposable income" the test states I have... is that to pay the vehicles and taxes in the plan along with unsecureds OR
is that amount after vehicles and taxes have been paid.

There is a place for vehicles and taxes in the test so I am confused.

This is grossly oversimplified, but disposable income is basically what is left over to pay your creditors after the costs for your secured assets, secured debts, taxes, and living expenses are subtracted from your gross income.

Calculating disposable income on the Means Test is murky because there's a lot of variability between what is acceptable for living expenses from district to district, plus since the the changes in the bk law in 2005, the figures we are now forced to use for transportation, utilities, etc may not be what a filer actually has to pay. The line items on the forms can be interpreted different ways as well. That's why under the new law, having a knowledgeable Ch 13 lawyer who knows the ins and outs of the Means Test and what's acceptable in your district is crucial!
