Well hubby and I went to our meeting of creditors yesterday. I was not at all scared as all I really thought that was going to happen was no creditors would show up and that would be the end of it. Well no creditors showed and neither did the appointment before us or after us so we got 35 minutes in the room alone with our trustee.
She asked us a lot of questions and answered some of ours she seemed nice enough after reading all of her objections to be honest I was a bit unsure what to expect. After hours upon hours of completing all of that paperwork and feeling so stupid after we were done she shut off the tape recorder and told me she wanted to tell me what a great job she thought I did on all of my paperwork. She asked me where I got the forms and I told her many of them I made myself as I had no typewritter and could not seem to fit in the boxes everything that needed to go in there so I had no choice but to make my own. She said that she wanted me to know that she was impressed with them and that I did all of that on my own.
Hubby says I should feel really good about all of that and I told him after I get the objections I will tell him how I feel but I am glad that I spent the time I did to get the forms to turn out right.... I almost cried though when she was hand writting on them I thought no don't do that I spent weeks of my life preparing them
So I just thought that I would update you all and tell you that we go to court on the 18th of July and she said she will get her stuff done this week so I should know by next week what I will have to fix and she told me that when I do to wait until the day before the creditors have to file an objection to mail out the new plan so they don't have time to object to it........ I thought that was kind of nice and strange all at the same time but it makes sense so that is what we will do..........................
