Hello ALL,
Good Morning or Good Afternoon. I have not heard anything from my trustee since we started to make our payments in 12/06. Am I supposed to hear from her. My attorney's paralegal a couple of months back said that waiting on confirmation What does this mean? Any advise because I have been reading to where people seem to know what the trustee is doing.

Normally you won't hear anything from the trustee after the 341 meeting. She will contact your lawyer, not you.

Most trustees do mail out periodic accounting sheets to you showing where your money is going. Ours sends this to us directly every six months, and our lawyer also receives it. Otherwise the only contact you would have from the trustee is if you receive an official mailing telling you an objection has been filed by your trustee, and you DON"t want that kind of contact!

13Network is another free option to see what your Ch 13 trustee is doing. Click here http://www.13network.com/ and scroll down a bit to see if your trustee is listed under your state. If she is, click on her name and follow the instructions on her homepage on how to sign up.

While you're waiting to get your sign-in permissions, give your lawyer's office a call and ask if your case has been confirmed yet. If the answer is not confirmed yet, ask what the hold-up is.

when was the last day for objections....was there a confirmation hearing scheduled and were there any objections??? You said your making the payments, does your trustee require you to pay it or do they insist on your employer paying it...and if it's the latter has that started yet.

again, after all my deadlines passed for the objections BEFORE i was confirmed i had to show proof i was paying mortgage, student loan, HOA dues, on time. then it just confirmed on yesterday

*****I am paying it myself and not thru my employer. I am paying 250.00 now but will be paying 750.00 come 12/07 (not sure why this way)

have you checked PACER to see what the status of your case is.......the only reason why I'm asking all this is because if the claims bar date for objections passed three months ago, you didn't have a confirmation hearing (meaning no objections) your plan should be confirmed by now. ...you started your payment 12/06 which means you filed around....11/06

I can't remember ...oh yeah you did say you have a lawyer. I would call the lawyer and find out about the confirmation of the plan or what the hold up is on that. or the trustees office.

I will try and check pacer just though pacer would some what "alert" the trustee and I did not want to stir up waters. Again thanks for helping me get up to speed with this BK and all the intricacies.

The only thing I get is a yearly statement of my payments. I haven't heard anything in the last four years from my trustee.
