Okay Yall, This is almost Histerical!

Sorry for the spelling errors but its been a long 3 yrs.
I know some of yall know our story. This has to be the topper. We came back home and the ceiling in the family room is leaking water. Looks like a pipe busted when my 5 yr old overflowed the toilet. Anything else that goes wrong here, I will not be surprised at. I am so miserable right now.
I guess I dont care about the ceiling, just hope they dont think we did it or anything like that

I'd say "when it rains, it pours" but that would be mean (just trying to bring a little smile to a bad situation...forgive me...I couldn't resist )

So sorry to hear you are having so many problems right now, busted. Life has a way of throwing us curve balls when we least expect it and can least handle it.

Could your 5-year-old have flushed something down the toilet to make it overflow? (Ours did that more than once at that age.) If it's stuck and blocking the pipe, that could be why you now have a leak. If you have a plumbers snake in the house or a handy neighbor that does, that can grab it and pull it back out, thus stopping the leak.

Sorry to hear busted, I hope you can get it fixed easily as lrprn suggests hopefully just a stuck toy or item.

I understand, once one bad thing happen it loves company. All this means you will receive a bigger blessing when it is all over. As had as it may seem but stay your best to stay positive. I am go back and forth, my nerves are shot but through it all I am trying to stay positive. When we decided to file, we felt decided to be honest with our landlord and tell him what we were going through, this had nothing to do with him nor was it our way to get out of the lease. Do you know he sent back our rent money and then served us with a 5 day notice to quit. After five days (because we decided we did not trust him and it would be best to move) he served us with papers for immediate possession but we had to go to court for that. Thank God we already filed. It seemed like we were losing money fast... We had to pay an very high unexpected electric bill, my husband's car started to over heat, not good in Phoenix where the temps are 115 degrees, you name it took our money, things I did not even mention on this board however, we still had enough. At the 12 o'clock hour we found a 3400 sq foot home on a huge lot across from a park. I was afraid to call the realtor because I just knew it would be expense and credit check, yes, it takes like two days and the BK shows on Credit report. I called the rent is only $1300 (we were paying $2000 for the other home that was smaller but had a play pool) I asked about credit and he said no credit check, we signed a lease that evening and he allowed us to make payments on the security deposit. The funny thing is for the last 3 years I have wanted to live in this model home from this builder and I was blessed to be able to do it. Since then, things are just working themselves out. We are not running out of anything including money, we had just enough.
