How does a pay increase affect a Ch 13? Before and during the process? It looks as though I will be getting a pay increase on 1 Oct and again on my anniversary at my job next July. I won't be able to file prior to the raise. It will be a total of 5% between the two. So now what?

Any raises on your paychecks *before* you file become a part of your six-month income lookback.Originally posted by nojusticehere View PostHow does a pay increase affect a Ch 13? What happens with raises you get *after* you file depends on your trustee and what he/she expects to be notified about after you file. Some trustees don't care about raises after you file, some want to know if the raise increases your income by 10% or more, and some want to know about any raises at all.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
