About two months when I bought a new car and financed it by partially trading in my old car - which still had a balance - so my new car cost me the price of the new car plus the payoff balance of my old car.
I received a letter from my previous lender thanking me for my business, yada, yada, yada, and that the account was now closed.
But they also deleted my payment history and any history regarding that account from all the credit reporting agencies that they were reporting to.
None of my credit reports show that the account was paid in full, and is closed now.
Will this hurt my credit scores? Usually satisfactorily paid accounts boost your score.
