    Why did it come off????

About two months when I bought a new car and financed it by partially trading in my old car - which still had a balance - so my new car cost me the price of the new car plus the payoff balance of my old car.
I received a letter from my previous lender thanking me for my business, yada, yada, yada, and that the account was now closed.
But they also deleted my payment history and any history regarding that account from all the credit reporting agencies that they were reporting to.
None of my credit reports show that the account was paid in full, and is closed now.
Will this hurt my credit scores? Usually satisfactorily paid accounts boost your score.

It should NOT have come off. You should contact the creditor and ask them to put it back on. Failing that, I think if you have proofs of payment going back awhile, you could try to send a letter to all 3 cra's and ask them to put it back on. They are not required to, but well may do it.

The answer to your question is yes. If you paid all on time and then it got deleted, your score would likely go down.

Absolutely get that information put back on your credit report if the car was paid off and the account was paid in full......
Send certified letter to the credit bureau "asking why?" it was deleted from your credit report.

All accounts - past and present - that are paid in full and in good standing ALL help boost your credit score. If you have a lot of these accounts when you file bankrutpcy, you credit score will not suffer a great deal....

Let us know the outcome of this.....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
