.....regarding the following?
Earlier this year or late last year Congress wanted to pass a law ordering banks/credit card companies NOT to honor charges related to online gambling. These online gambling sites are primarily located offshore in foreign countries.
AND
States, losing out on sales taxes, wanted the Feds to force credit card industry NOT to honor charges for online/internet cigarettes sales - which are primarily based overseas - which collect no taxes, and are "duty free".

Since there's been nothing in the news about this, the bill is probably still sitting in committee or was killed.
