Update on My Lawyer Meeting

Hey Guys.....
Well...Ellen Ray made me feel so much better. She stated that I do qualify for Chapter 7 because the bills that I currently pay makes me upside down itself. Also she stated that it will be my choice to voluntarily repossess my car...how long after i file can i do one of those redemption loans? also...as far as my apt...i told her i was trying to find another place cheaper...she told me to go ahead and find another place....and then stop paying the rent so it can also be discharged in my BK. She told me that she has had a lot of people file for bk that work for a bank...and if i get fired because of that...she will refer me to another lawyer...so i can sue....$100 to retain her...and then i can begin telling all my creditors to talk to my lawyer...$50 for the dmv check ...$626 base fee individual bk...$299 filing fee....total is $975.


Thank you so much......so what is next...i am going to retain her on Fri...and pay 1/2 the balance...trying to figure out when i amgoing to stop paying on the car....i think in OCT

Good job and nice price. Heck, I would have considered a lawyer for that price but everyong out here wanted $2500 and we have no assets. Oh well...
