If you are filing Ch 7, most lawyers will recommend that you wait at least until after your 341 is over to start making more money. If you want to make 100% certain that there will be absolutely no possibility of problems whatsoever after increasing your income, wait until your case is discharged and closed.Originally posted by stopthebleeding View PostMy court date should be Dec. 3 . since they are filing me today . after that day can I make more or should i wait the fulll 6 months. If you are filing Ch 13, then how and when you should increase your income depends on your trustee, your local court customs, and your district bk court case decisions.Last edited by lrprn; 10-19-2007, 06:43 PM.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Wait to see what happens at your 341. This time of year, many Trustees wanna see your filed income taxes in the Spring. They can take a prorated portion of refund, if you get over a certain amount back.
If the Trustee is gonna see your income taxes, I'd suggest you not take any extra work until after the first of the year.Filed Ch 7 - 09/06
Discharged - 12/2006
Officially Declared No Asset - 03/2007
Closed - 04/2007
