    Wooooooooohooooooooooooooooo

This morning my best friend's son started his journey back to America from Iraq.

He finished his second tour as a Captain, 26 yrs. old, and is being released. He served willingly right out of college.

I pray for this good news for every single parent who has a kid in Iraq. The kids are all the best of Americans and their parents
display courage that I could never imagine.

Congrats to your friends! I must be the perfect gift to have their child returned and safe. Makes the holidays so much more special.

Being a mother of a son who was in the military, I can really feel for the parents who lose a child. B-12. It was my biggest worry until he was discharged. Thanks for sharing the great news with everyone. It made my heart smile today.

Our active Army sergeant son just returned last month after a year in Iraq. He had several close brushes with death (sniper fire, IED hit his Stryker, etc), so we were incredibly thankful he was back in the States safe at last. It was the longest 12 months of our lives!

In this case, I can truly say that I understand exactly how happy your best friend is feeling right now!
