Credit, DEVALUES the dollar...

I think it's the underlying reason why I got in so deep. With credit, it just doesn't *feel* like it's coming out of your pocket. You spend more because it's easier, $500, no problem, swipe it, and pay half now, half later...

Then, you buy something else before finishing to pay off that $500.

I dunno, just thought I'd share that tidbit. I misused credit and got burned, and I really do think the core reason is that credit devaules your dollar.

Have you seen that commercial where the guy says, "They comped my room cuz I'm down 4500!" and the wife says, "4500 dollars?" and he says, "no, 4500 chips!".....PERFECT example! I think its a Cingular Commercial....

Very true...I'm sorry to hear that you're now just learning/realizing this.
