    1 Year out of discharge, UPDATE

    Things are actually VERY good just one year out of discharge. I took a new job and moved to a new city after the business failed. I am making over $100k a year with a company car and company credit card. My case was officially closed this month, one year after discharge. My credit scores have shot up, FICO is currently at 720 and Experian is at 691. I now get to travel to places around the world like Germany, Brazil, and Trinidad.

    But honest to God, the one thing that matters to me most is the birth of my first child born 7 months ago today. This child is the love of my life, and the primary reason I decided to bk and start all over....God bless this child...

    ..and many thanks to this board for helping me keep my sanity. Happy Holidays to all.

    08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
    10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
    Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

      Congratulations - sounds like you are doing well! It's amazing how much a little one changes your outlook on life as well
