I took one of the online means tests. Now I'm scared.
It says the maximum rent allowed in my state and county is 1024. However, my rent is $1100. The base rent is $934 but they make us pay "pet rent" for our 2 cats and pay for the washer and dryer in the unit and we chose to have a carport because of the lack of open parking around here.
Does this mean I'm going to have to move??
I'll never find a decent apartment with our credit rating and we love this place. It seems dumb to move over $76 when our utility allowance is more than we need and so is the personal/household.
