    claims

filed 9/07/2007. 341 10/18/2007. confirmed 12/19/2007. January 16th is supposed to be the last day for creditors to file claims. There are 30 non-secured creditors and our 2 mortgage companies. I have been keeping an eye on the chapter 13 data center. So far it does not show that anyone has filed a claim. I am curious. Do they wait until after the last day to file before they show the claims or would they be showing as the claims were filed? So far we have 3/36 payments made. It would be great if we could knock off more time.

We are at 100% payback for 40 months. Co-signer paid a creditor that would have taken 4+ months to pay back.

With January 16 as the last day to file claims and the long holiday weeks in the middle, it wouldn't surprise me if most of the claims in your case come in after Jan 2. Also 13 Data Center updates may be delayed due to the holidays as well.

Be patient and keep checking - those claims will start showing up once the holidays are over.

I would suggest checking Pacer over the 13 Data Center, since it's the claims in Pacer that is what they will automatically go by. I found much more information here than I did on the Data Center.

            Truckerswife,

We've been in Chp 13 for 7 months and our Datacenter site still hasn't been updated with the actual claims. Everyone who was sent paperwork is listed, even if they didn't file a claim. Our trustee still hasn't paid out to anyone, despite the 7 payments and 2 months of having our planned confirmed. Pacer is going to tell you who filed a claim on what date, and you can even download a copy of the claim. I found that many of our creditors sold off our accounts to 3rd parties, so it's been somewhat of a puzzle to figure out what claims match up with what credit cards.
