    Formerly ohwell - finally got my discharge!!!

    I haven't been here in a month - had to get new name cause I couldn't log in as ohwell..

    I wanted to announce that I got my discharge!! FINALLY!!!

    I am so very grateful for this board to help us make this huge decision that has so much changed our lives for the better for our family.

    I never thought I'd be so relieved in my life! We were over the median income filers with over 100k unsecured debt, and had a home we let go and our 2 cars... bought a beater before the holiday and will get another one in the near future, and have a locked in lease rental.

    Its so exciting to not be weighed down with debt! I can't believe we got our ch 7...

      Congratulations! Please stay around and help out. I think we need a more active post bk section of the forum for support and advice with keeping things in check after discharge.

        Fantastic news, ohwell! You had a tough ride - so glad the bumps are over and now you're sitting pretty! Congrats on the new fresh start - use what you've learned. Come back and let us how how the rebuilding is going. So happy for you!
