Most Ch 7 lawyers will say that after your 341 and as long as the account is not in a bank or credit union that could have a cross-collateralization clause against you, it's fine to start putting paycheck and other income money into the bank again. To make sure that is the right answer for you, be sure to ask your own lawyer.
Even though the cross-collateralization thing shouldn't matter after you file, we have had a rare member or two here who had their credit union come after them and repossess cars or take cash from accounts even though the automatic stay protects them. Some arrogant creditors think they are above the law and it can take months and $$ to lawyers to get the money back. It's very rare but it's 100% if it happens to you. Something else to discuss with your lawyer.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Good to know. I wanted to live like a normal person. For the few years I had to deal with the stupid IRS debt. I owe no property so was worry about my home however, I didn't want them to garnish my account. I don't even believe that debt is fair. I was at 21 when I started my money pay my taxes and then got an audit 2 years later. The AUDIT was during my Divorce where he guy had empty out our joint account. I was after him and could care less about the IRS. After all that is done I started my offer in compromise with the IRS which took me 2 years to get it DENIED. I have no choice but to file BK and move on. But I didn't want to live like a criminal.
