    38 days and not closed

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas why it takes some cases longer to close than others. I check pacer on a regular basis to see if my case is closed and no such luck as of today. I have heard nothing from the trustees or my attorney. I have been trying to contact the attorney but he has not gotten back to me. The case has been listed as a no asset, they did not want our tax returns, but yet still not closed!! This is frustrating for me. I was excited to see that it was discharged, but waiting for the closing has gotten to me!!

Read this forum "sticky" explaining discharge vs closing in Ch 7 and why worrying about closing isn't necessary - http://www.bkforum.com/showthread.php?p=72253#poststop

Hopefully this will help you feel less stressed about it.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
