    question about buying a car

I've been screwed by a builder -- he put the house on the wrong lot -- and it's almost finished -- $300K outstanding on the loan -- still trying to work something out but I'm curious.
Since I stopped making payments on it (not paying for a house that's not even mine!!) -- I know my credit is going to get wrecked -- I've never made a late payment or had any debt in my life --live cheaply and well below my means. I need a new car though as my 93 Legacy wagon will soon be put out to pasture.

If I buy a car now with good credit -- how likely is it to get repo'd? I'll make the payments on it but if I get a judgement because of the house crap -- how likely is it that the bank would get the car? Can they do that?

I am not trying to be snarky, but how was it not known until the house was almost finished that it was on the wrong lot?

I would say if you stay current on your payments, there should be no problem. See if you can get the maintenance and other whistles in the package.
Golden Jubilee was a year-long celebration held every 50 years in which all bondmen were freed, mortgaged lands were restored to the original owners, and land was left fallow: Lev. 25:8-17

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

Yeah, I'm planning on paying for the car -- did you mean if I miss mortgage payments on the house, kiss it goodbye or just if I missed a car payment.

I don't plan on missing any payments on anything -- except I did stop paying the mortgage payments obviously since it's not my house yet.

How do I dispute the credit reporting? Is that a phone call or a form or ? Just curiuos.
