I've been screwed by a builder -- he put the house on the wrong lot -- and it's almost finished -- $300K outstanding on the loan -- still trying to work something out but I'm curious.
Since I stopped making payments on it (not paying for a house that's not even mine!!) -- I know my credit is going to get wrecked -- I've never made a late payment or had any debt in my life --live cheaply and well below my means. I need a new car though as my 93 Legacy wagon will soon be put out to pasture.
If I buy a car now with good credit -- how likely is it to get repo'd? I'll make the payments on it but if I get a judgement because of the house crap -- how likely is it that the bank would get the car? Can they do that?
