    Question Pacer???

Hi - I am new to this - I have seen many posts referring to PACER and wondered if this was available as a national service or depending on the state you filed? And is it for ch 7 and ch 13 filers? I have logged onto the National Data Center - is this the same information on pacer? Any info is appreciated - thank you.

Pacer is an excellent service and it has really helped me to feel in tune with my BK case since filing BUT be very careful of what you click. If you are not sure of something come back here and ask. I made a huge mistake somewhere along the line and now have a $20 something bill.

After registering you should have received an email stating:
'Your registration request was processed. You should receive a
registration packet, including your login and password, via U.S. mail within a
week at the address specified above. For security reasons, logins and
passwords can not be emailed, faxed, or given over the phone.'

I always chose Western North Carolina district (Which is where I live and filed). Then I would do a search by my SSN.
