Question Exemption from legal process

I am trying figure out what it means if my pension has Exemption from legal process. I am a retired federal employee.
Does that mean my annuity is not calculated for the means test?

I think only SS income is exempt from means testing.
Pension income is exempt from garnishment. That's what they mean by exemot from legal process in your situation.

Yep, means test and exemptions are very seperate things.

Basically ANY source of income counts for the means test.

What they can't do is count your pension as an "asset" with a cash value.
