???? What to do

I am 39 months into my 13, 36 since confirmation. My payments are $557 a month and all I have left on my 13 is $682. Is there anyway I can mail in that payment and hopefully cut this short by a month? I just want this to be done!! Also, still waiting on my stimulus payment, aargh!!

It is worth a try. It may not help but it won't hurt. Put FINAL PAYMENT on the M.O. and call the Clerk of Bankruptcy Court or your lawyer. 'Hub

when I saw your name helpless I thought it was a huge problem. Call your trustee or just wait a month. Congrats on making it! And your not helpless. I wish I had your problem...lol!

Call your attorney before you do anything and have him/her obtain a printout directly as to your Plan from the Court (they have access and can do that - ours did every quarter for us). Before you send in anything, advise your attorney what you are doing and the numbers match up with that print out...remember, there are Trustees fees that may not be included.

Thanks flamingo, I will do that. Buchanj I did feel pretty helpless three years ago. I might hav to change my name from helpless to hopeful after this is all over.

I have 4 more payments to go. I am crossing off the days to Nov 3 when I can call the staff person in charge of my case and have them send out that letter to me that says it is ok to stop making payments. She sent me her phone number. LOLOL I can't wait. Good luck to you! (hopeful :) )
