I live in a condo community. One of the owners was way behind on their association fees. The management group was ready to file a lien, and found out the owners filed chapter 7. I'm figuring if they are up to date with the mortgage, the home is safe. Can they be protected from paying assoc. fees?
If they didn't include the fees when filing, should we wait till discharge before filing a lien so the can't amend it?
