Keep in mind that the confirmation hearing (it's not a trial) is just one more stop along the Ch 13 journey - you don't even have to be present unless your lawyer tells you otherwise. Hang in there - you're on the downhill slope.
In Ch 13 confirmation is a somewhat artificial date to us filers because no matter what, you just keep making the same monthly payments on time to your trustee until the confirmation happens whenever it finally does.
You are at the start of a long journey where you can't control what the court does in any way - they exist in their own time dimension that is nothing like ours!
Re-direct your precious energy to fine-tuning your family budget which you can control and will be incredibly important for the coming years.
Hang in there - confirmation will come before you know it and you'll be wondering what all the fuss has been about
