We Got Our Discharge

:Well to those of you who are familiar with our case this has been a very long time coming. For some reason PITTSBURGH is very back logged . Or Last 13 payment was December 07 So 9 long months after our last payment We finally completed our CH 13 100% payback of $62,500.00 We saw our discharge on pacer today !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all for your encouragement & good Luck to everyone going thru it. Stick with it . It does come to an end!!!!!!!!!

We too are in your district and have two payments left, I hope it doesn't take as long, but suspect it will for us to be done. No payments have gone to our unsecured yet, they are just sitting on the money. I have a feeling we still have a long road to go.

Same with us Soccermom they sat on our money made final payment dec 07 paid out end of April 08 saw we had extra money increased us to 100% then sent everyone another check june of 08 then sent us a check for the remainder july 08 . got letter end of June saying we should have our discharge within 90 days . It was 90 days to almost the exact day! Very frustrating in PGH when you see other places that they get discharged in a month or 2 . Best of luck to you hope it works much quicker for you.

What is the difference between discharged and closed?
Is it possible to become un-discharged until then?

What is the difference between discharged and closed? Is it possible to become un-discharged until then?

Purple, in Ch 13 there is no discharge then closing as there is in Ch 7. In Ch 13 there is only a final discharge which simultaneously closes the Ch 13 case.
