    What do you think?

Republican women's groups are slamming Oprah Winfrey for not inviting Sarah Palin on her show.
In the past she (Oprah), an Obama supporter, invited Hillary Clinton when she was running against Obama.

Wonder if Jerry Springer would invite Hillary, had she won the primaries, AND Sarah Palin to appear on the same show. Jerry, Jerry!!

I respect Opra. I don't watch her show, but it is obvious she is pushing a race thing as well as the Dem's. I don't agree with her as this woman is obviously well qualified with an above average I.Q. and a great personality (and she's cute) LOLOL.

It would be uplifting for the women's rights and all that group. 'Hub

While I usually stay out of politics, I can just imagine Sarah Palin in negotiations with Putin...She fell apart just with Charlie of ABC on a small TV interview. Kinda makes me want to run to the hills and hide and hope she at least gets several more years experience under her Hockey Mom skates before she gets on another VP or Presidential ticket. I would feel this way whether it was a man or a woman in this position and I don't think one should be put in a high office such as VP of the US with such little experience, especially in overseas affairs. That's just common sense thinking for anyone.

I do believe that Oprah stated since she decided to publicly endorse a canidate (sp), that she would not interview any on her show. And she is very publicly endorsing Obama.

I'll give you that. As I said, I respect her, but I don't always agree with her. If that was her stance, I respect her for that. 'Hub

WHY do Americans -- or maybe its just the media -- think that we CARE about who Oprah endorses? Or any Hollywood actor or TV personality, for that matter? So sick of all their opinions! As if they know more than the rest of us?

I used to watch Oprah nearly every day. Now I rarely watch her anymore. And its not just because of her politics -- I don't care if she endorses a candidate -- or if anyone does, but I just don't want her or some "news" anchor constantly shoving her opinion (or theirs) in my face. It just makes me want to run the other way.

Rather than question Oprah, perhaps we should ask why Ralph Nader, Bob Barr, Chuck Baldwin, Cynthia McKinney, Brian Moore, etc are not being invited to the Presidential Debates?

Why are their running mates not being invited to the Vice Presidential Debates?

To me that is the important truth the media shoves the Democrats and Republicans down everyone's throats. I believe they should be required to give equal time to all candidates regardless of party affiliation or lack of party affiliation. I think the current system is what is strangling America.

I never have watched Oprah, probably never will. The only talk show I remember watching on a regular bases was the Arsenio Hall Show back in the late 80s. I've never really cared for them much.

What passes as news programs today, are mostly entertainment programs or opinion programs, they are not truly news. If it was news, we would only get the facts, not the opinions of the anchors.

Chuck Baldwin is very conservative however he is mostly just a write in candidate in many states.

I agree though that the Republicans and Democrats will not change until forced to do so which will happen in 20 years if not sooner.....as they can't possibly meet all the obligations and promises they've made around that time. (That creative accounting they use....similar to Enron's....)
