Can I pay my parents back

I borrowed $100.00 a month ago from my parents who gave it to me in check form. Can I write them a check back for $100.00? When we file in March, will they make my parents give them the $100.00 back?

Why do you have to write them a check for 100.00? Why not just give them the cash?

The debt is only for $100.00. You will not raise any questions--for the most part--with amounts less than $600.00. Just don't be tempted to try for much more. Other than that, I agree with jessegirl: pay your parents back with cash.
