Bankruptcy Question from California

Suppose i file bk (chapter 7) and has a student loan that i want to keep due to the fact i wil need the money to pay my school. will it affect me? will they stop giving me money? what wud happen to my bill? will i be able to use the loan that was granted to me.? if ever i dont decide to go to school yet and wait after my discharge? anyone here who can help me out

By the way is there anyone here who has filed Bk (chapter 7) on their own and got dischaged? What about preparing the petition and hiring a lawyer to represent you. will that be possible?

Hi Physlyn! Have you done a search at all in here on your student loan question (there are tons of postings along the lines of what you are questioning) and have you read the Stickys on Chapter 7 and searched for "pro se Chapter 7" on here? There is a huge amount of informaton that can help you and other posters who have filed Chapter 7 pro se.
