I bought a car back in stepmber of 2008, my mom co-signed for me, but when we received paper work from the loan company, she was the #1 signer, and my name was listed as a co-signer. When we receive mail from them, only her name is first then my name? is this correct, is this legal?

A car that DH a had bought was like that. I was on the loan 1st since my credit was better, but the stmt just came in my name.
