Well I'm almost done gathering everything. All I have left is my 08' tax returns, credit counseling certificate and balance in checking. However, how do I list my clothing? Do I have to list everything seperate like boxers, shirts, suits, shoes, etc or just lump them all together? I just can't wait to get this over with.

Clothing is lumped in with your household goods value. The average US household goods are typically worth about $3-4K total. This amount does not include independently valued high dollar items like jewelry, art, furs, antiques, firearms, etc.I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.

Thank you! I just finished my 2008 taxes and realize I owe 250 state and 111 federal taxes. Are these able to be included in my bk? I have literally $175 in my checking and this has to last until my next payday on the 3rd. There is no way I can pay them. I still owe my attorney $1400. Please someone help!9/22/2009 - officially filed chapter 7

You list the amounts in the petition, but the taxes are priority debt and not dischargeable in your Ch 7.
However, you can make payment arrangements with the IRS for those taxes. File the taxes, file the BK, get discharged then make payment arrangements ASAP because interest accrues.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008
