Chase sent new cards! Petsmart/WAMU related

My wife and both received replacement cards for our former WAMU/Petsmart cards. The limits stayed the same, but the expiration date was extended one more year (10/12 now)!!! Good news, I've been worrying :yahoo:

Me too. I got my new replacement card this weekend. I was surprised, as I had been under the impression I would not be receiving a new card until my old card expired.
I got the basic Chase Rewards.......I don't even see that card as an option on their website, so maybe this is Chase's "Crap-One" version of the chase card...???

PS: Oh, I should add that I was nervous too, cause I had BK'd on Chase in 05.

I got mine too. Also with the extended expiration date so it looks like Chase isn't going to cancel it. I didn't BK them but I was still concerned since they are not BK friendly.

What kind did you get? Basic Chase Rewards??? That's what they sent me. I don't even see that same card as an option on their website....

JPMorgan/Chase sent out information early in March as to how they were changing your acount and provided information as to updating the web site and giving instruction for those that pay online and how they were eliminating certain items, adding certain items as to your account, etc. Did you receive that information? Folks who had the WAMU account where they were getting cash back rewards accumulating were switched over to the chase reward system and most folks noted that their percentage increased .5% from what they had previously with WAMU.

I previously had a WAMU Petsmart card. The letter I got indiciated I should continue to use my WAMU card until expiration. And had instructions for accessing my now chase account on line.

I just wonder if this CHASE rewards card is similar to the Card Capital One has that people call "CRAP ONE"? Seems to be a very generic card - rewards are points.

As I mentioned, the type of card I have now does not appear to exist at all on Chase's website.
