Ok, so upon reviewing my DV letter, I noticed that this particular DV letter that I copied and pasted from BTW. It says it is not requesting verification, but validation.
When I check the FTC website, it clearly states that the portion of the FDCPA, that gives you the right, is called VERIFICATION, not validation.
So how should I be wording my DV letter?
Either way, I'm sure the collector understands the premise. But I like to be precise.
