    Question Filing on a school

Recently I attended one of those local for profit schools. I dropped out after 2 months because I realized I wasn't going to learn what I needed to become a Pharmacy Technician(I should have done my research first). I had the school send the student loans back to the government which they did. I only owe the gov $500( I know that is not something I can file on) My question is this: I now owe the school about $3000 and since it is not a loan but an outright debt when I file bankruptcy can I list the school in my debts too? TIA

We owed about 1000.00 to a private school. Long story, but a barter agreement gone bad is what it boils down to. We included them in the BK, the lawyer said no problem.

I would include them. They are a for-profit company, and will write off the amount owed just like all the other creditors.
      No worries.
Much thanks for all the support and information I receive on this forum.

Thanks for the replies! I'm glad I wised up and had them send the money back to the federal government.
