Grrr companies continuing to report deliquent monthly after discharge

    How do I stop this??

I have a credit monitoring service. US Bank and Common Wealth Marketing are both reporting delinquent every month. In the "remarks" both say included in Ch 7.

So how can they continue to do this every month?
    12/05/08 - filed pro se
01/27/09 - case dismissed and closed - 02/24/09 - case reopened and dismissal vacated
    04/01/09 - new 341 scheduled
    6/02/09 - DISCHARGED!!!

It's typical and normal. What you need to do is dispute via snail mail and send certified with return receipt. Send to the CRA and also to the creditor. Include in the mailings a copy of your discharge and a copy of the creditor matrix showing the creditor as being included in the BK. That will take care of it but over the next few years, keep tabs on your reports because for unexplained reasons, old information has a sneaky way of coming back and getting put back on there. To give you an idea, we filed Chapter 13 and were discharged in 8/06. One year after discharge, some creditors switched our Chapter 13 to a Chapter 7. How that occurred, we do not know; we truly believe it was due to typos by whoever works inputting information at these agencies; they are probably extremely overwhelmed and busy with all the disputes that occur. Just monitor things every now and then and dispute as needed.

I agree with Flamingo, you need to dispute it with the CRAs. Also, it is strange how things change on your CR. I had one report pretty much fully accurate and then suddenly a bunch of stuff got deleted and four accounts changed to IIB with the date of my first BK (discharged 2001) and said they was scheduled to come off in Aug. 09. On another report, a bunch of items got deleted and one changed from IIB back to a c/o. Weird stuff. Just monitor things closely and even once you get everything reporting accurately, keep an eye on those reports!

        Regarding "Lates" of bankrupted stuff...

Which lates can I ask creditors to remove?
        -All lates posted after filing?
        -All lates posted after discharge?

and...is there a law they've broken by posting those lates, or is removal something I can only ask them politely to remove?
