converting to 7 from 13

I am converting to 7 after about 2 years of a 13. Already filed paperwork, and met with administrator last week. Question is, can I add new creditors and debts incurred over the last 2 years? I thought such amendments were do-able, but my lawyer is acting confused. Any help? I live in Colorado. thanks

I would certainly obtain a formal second legal opinion. I was under the impression that you can include new debts. I would go for a free consultation with a different attorney and get some advice. If you are not comfortable with your current attorney the certainly change. This is your financial future and you can't be too careful. Good luck.
