I googled it and I found this among the top search results:Originally posted by sportsterAnyone have experience with them? Should I steer clear?
"Summary: Do NOT use this service-- YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!
This is a complete rip-off... they are scammers. They do NOT publish their company address, email or telephone numbers-- because they are NOT LEGITIMATE!!! There is not guarantee except that they will steal your money. STAY AWAY!!!!"
This was actually one of the first places I saw online when I myself started looking. I remember exactly what is stated here, no phone numbers posted to talk to a real person. And many of these places were the same thing. So I wouldn't trust anyplace that does not clearly post contact information, so you can call and talk to a human being to make sure they are not obviously overseas, or extremely ghetto and talking out of their bunghole etc

i wouldnt file on my own with the new laws. too many details and problems can happen. if it does then are you going to know how to handle them when the attorneys dont even know it that well yet. at least they figure it out and work the best deal for you.
its a one time fee for a lifetime of freedom.Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

I filed under the old laws. I used form 7 as recommended on this site. Unfortunately, the creator of form 7 died before completing an updated version for the new laws. Regardless, there are still people doing it successfully on their own. Theres a guy on this site who just did his own and pwned the trustee and us trustee at his 341. Bottom line is the system is just as confused with all of the new laws as the filers are. Heres where the difference lies, if you have anything to lose, use an attorney. If you were like me, and had absolutely nothing over what is excemptable, you can file on your own with few worries. After all, how can they take things that you don't have? And you would only need to reaffirm if you have things that you want to keep and continue making payments on, so that would be having something to lose and should use an attorney.Originally posted by sportsterDid you go under the new laws? Did you have to reaffirm anything?

Usa Bankruptcy Associates - Scam!
Hi, I normally don't leave posts, BUT, if I can save just 1 person from being scammed by these people...here it is:
Obviously, anyone filing BK is in a vulnerable position emotionally, financially, etc etc.......logic tends to go 'out the window'...
hence, anytime a company does NOT give contact info, be forewarned!
They GUARANTY complete 100% accuracy on your BK docs.........well guess what? - mine were all screwed up AND you cannot contact ANYONE at the company to remedy or refund! $ 185 "out the window"!
Buyer Beware....
if anyone out there any other ideas...I had a RE company go belly up and I am literally down to my last pennies.....so I cannot afford the $3500 for an attorney...
any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
many thanksLast edited by lrprn; 03-23-2008, 06:31 PM. Reason: Removed poster's live email link and personal email address
