    I Am Finally Discharged


    HAPPY DANCE -- HAPPY DANCE


    I just read on PACER that I am officially discharged and my case has been closed as of 9:30AM on Friday, June 30th 2006.

    It has been a long road, but I do not regret a mile of it! I could not have made it without all the great folks on this board.

    IT IS ALL OVER!!!!!

    Now Time to rebuild those credit reports

    Congrats GA guy!

    Are the foreclosures starting to slow down in Alpharetta? When I was living there, there were so many problems. Way too many people employed by telecoms and let go (including my husband). Seemed like way too much overbuilding up in Cumming, too.

      this place is getting larger and larger.. The foreclosures seemed to have slowed considerably!

      I bought here in Dec 02 and got a really great price on a 3br 3 story townhouse and paid less than $180k for it and now you can find nothing even close to me in that price range. Plus there are 1.5M dollar condos in addition to a huge upperscale open air shopping center/hotel/spa/entertainment complex being developed right in front of me. Hoping the resale values soar through the roof.

      Cumming is growing. I remember driving up there and it being a vast wasteland.. NOT ANYMORE!!

        DEBT FREE AGAIN (except maybe the mortgage, car......


        Start your "new beginning" out with your head on straight, set your goals and a budget........ and remember how hard it was to get to "this place"............

          That's such great news!! Hopefully my discharge will be quick and painless...counting the days at 5...GULP!
