I filed for 13 in 9/2005, and to my dismay - my case is STILL not confirmed! Apparently the worksheet from my final plan has been faxed to the trustee's office and we are waiting for that approval... ??...???
When I talk to my attorney's office, they tell me that all is well - but they don't give me many details.
I filed alone, since none of MY debts were in my husband's name - they were all mine alone, and I have a couple of "issues".
1 - my husband's income has increased exactly 10% - I told my attorney's office, but they told me that the standard is "more than 10%" and not to worry - but now I'm in a panic because I'm concerned that the trustee's office may want new income documentation. Along with his increase in pay - his costs also increased, but I may have a hard time justifying it since it's been since the first of the year.
2 - my husband also got a new vehicle - I also told the Attorney's office this, and they told me that was "his business" and that as long as he was using his "allowance" to pay for it - and nothing more - that was fine.
Do they often pull your credit to see what you are and aren't paying / holding etc. Will they pull it on a non-filing spouse?? They do have his SS number on the paperwork.
Is anyone else having issues with it taking 10 months from filing to confirmation?? I haven't seen/heard any problems with the data on the website (13network) and they have been taking my $900/month payments.
Thanks!
