Several different complications can arise.........If you get an experienced BK attorney to file your petition for you things should go rather smoothley, if you have have a simple or complex BK case.
Good Luck!

My situation, I have 3 student loans, 3 credit cards = $4500 a secured bank loan =$9500, and some other odd and end bills (medical expenses, etc around $3k). I can't afford my bills and I'm about $270 in the hole each month. I don't have any assets, no home, etc. I only make $21k last year, 7K the year before and $600 the year before that! Do you need more info - ?

You'll be able to get all your debts discharged except for your student loans. Just be prepared to show proof of your income from the last 2 to 3 years.Originally posted by missy2My situation, I have 3 student loans, 3 credit cards = $4500 a secured bank loan =$9500, and some other odd and end bills (medical expenses, etc around $3k). When you say proof of income you mean like w-2s and tax info correct? Or do you mean to show HOW I paid for things even though I had NO money? I had help from friends and family during a period of time so I had NO income...
will that be a problem - ? The lawyer said no - but I feel like I can't trust her. I know she wants to make money...it seems like she sugar coated the whole process..
