    Verizon phone after BK

So we included Verizon in our Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Do we have to send the phone and Apple Watch back to them? We owe like 800 or so but we included it in our bankruptcy.

No. In fact, the contract is a "non-PMSI" (non purchase money security interest) loan and they have no recourse. You own the equipment. I know this from personal experience with Verizon and an iPad Pro. They just wrote it off and filed a claim. They also created a new account and wrote off all the old billing.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

I’m with AT&T now anyway because Verizon was working on a local providers towers here and they stopped so service was awful. Someone asked me if he could have the phone to unlock. There’s no way he can use it is there? I have no idea how that stuff works.
